IllFM was a common haunt for me around this time, run by great guys and a great fun place to go and play live, such a shame that their archives are not available online any more.

The version of Desires in this set also is significantly different from the unreleased studio version of the track, and to my memory the only time it was played this way with additional Carnivalé sections. Fun fact about Purity, I submitted this track as part of my undergraduate Sound Art and Design degree and had to play it and explain it as part of my degree presentation, which was interesting to say the least! I also caused an uproar at the uni by playing a set as part of a degree showcase in a public area of the uni and projected Pasolini's Salo on the wall behind me as I played, needless to say there were numerous complaints, mostly from lecturers.
